Beste mensen,

Hartelijke groet,
Lidwien Nielander

Message from Parijs

Your site was totally new to me and I am very impressed. I used to live in Malakkastraat and Javastraat and stayed with a titled Lady in the Alexanderhof and a friend in Malle Molen, opposite where Lottie vd Gaag lived. I also knew Baronesse Snoeckaert van Schouwberg (Javastraat) very well or Mrs. Stegeman, the painter Theo Bitter and several other people. All between 1959 and 1970.

If you have a digital newsletter, I would like to receive it!

Kind regards,

Valuable information on www.archipelbuurt.nl

My husband, Stan, and I attended the seminar “Feel even more at home in the Archipel” on Thursday 6th November. We have recently purchased a house in Delistraast and will be moving into the Archipelbuurt in December and were very interested to attend the seminar to learn more about our new Dutch neighbourhood.

We found out about the seminar while googling “Archipelbuurt” and came across the residents’ association Website. I believe you are responsible for the English part of the Website and also producing the flyer to advertise the seminar.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to you for producing such an excellent English-language Website. We have used it on numerous occasions to search for restaurants and other businesses, and to learn more about the neighbourhood. Many thanks for all of your patient translation and for all of the valuable information you include. It is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Lisa

Need a plumber?

I am living in Archipelbuurt and I needed a plumber, so I did a search and [your] site came up. So via your site I found someone to fix my water boiler.

Duly impressed

I just had a look at www.archipelbuurt.nl and must say that I’m duly impressed with the amount of information and the quality of the information.

I will figure out the right spot on the [municipal] website to make a link to your website.

Congratulations on a great initiative!
