Archipel & Willemspark keeps up with the times

7 November 2011 – Through the decades the Archipelbuurt and Willemspark area has managed to retain its intimate character and nevertheless move with the times. We have tried to do the same with the website.

The A&W website was launched way back in
2002. In 2007, after five years in business it
was time for a makeover. Now, almost five
years further on, it is once again time to set a new course.

In 2009 we introduced the fortnightly newsletter, a medium essential to any well operating website in this digital age. Now, in 2011, we’ve incorporated new ideas based on the browsing habits of our trusty users and utilised modern technology in order to maintain the friendly image and service orientated concept of our community website.

The address remains the same though and all the information that was on the old site is still here but, we think, easier to find.

Without a doubt there will be some hiccups at first. So if you come across something you think could be improved, don’t be shy, get in touch and send an e-mail to Positive comments would be much appreciated as well!

At the moment we have a total of about 450 subscribers to our electronic newsletter in Dutch and in English. However, considering that our website (the Dutch language and English language sections combined) gets around 5,000 hits every month, we’d like to see this increase. So tell your neighbours and friends in the community to sign up to the newsletter and they too will be privy to the latest comings and goings in our community.

We hope you enjoy the new site!
