Millions of people have fled because of the war in Ukraine. The Municipality of The Hague is concerned about the people of Ukraine and sympathizes with everyone who has friends and family in that country. Many refugees have now reported to The Hague. They are temporarily accommodated in various reception locations, such as hotels and the Emergency Relief Foundation.
The municipality is looking for shelter locations for a longer period of time in various neighborhoods in The Hague in a very short time. During their stay, the refugees receive as much help as possible from the municipality and the organizations involved. The municipality also hopes for the help of residents with the reception.
For frequently asked questions about this subject (including about offering help), see Den Haag – Vluchtelingen Oekraïne: veelgestelde vragen.
If you receive signals from the neighborhood or receive questions that are not answered via the site, I would like to hear them.
Yours sincerely,
