Ice and snow have disappeared again. A pity for the scaters and for the indefaticable toddlers with their little sleighs, but a blessing to the elderly and those who are bad walkers.
And let us not forget the young lovers who like to spend their afternoons on the park-seat in front of our house. Straight from school, I presume, they wipe “their” spot clean and sit down, limbs entwined. Together they are for hours on end a living work of art. Cold does not seem to bother them, but obviously snow and ice were too much for them. Or maybe the crowd that suddenly occupied park and pond?
