In our neighbourhood is a desparate shortage of playing fields for lanky youths. Some time ago our local police-officer Marianne Hoogerbrugge, suggested to create one somewhere on the periphery of our district. That seemed to be a good idea. One only had to wait for the subsidy from the Municipality, which became available towards the end of the year 2013. But … then one could not decide on the right location for the playing field. The conclusion was: there is no suitable location for a playing field.
I am often proud of the democracy in our community, but not this time.
