Observations: Crossroads

“Did you have a quiet time?”

“Hmm… well, not really…”

“So, tell me.”

“On the corner of Javastraat and Scheveningseweg walked an old man looking for something on the pavement. Every now and then he said something out loud.”

“A beggar?”

“No, a proper guy, long sentences, able to talk, you know, just like a lawyer.”

“And then?”

“He was looking for screws, one of his jacket pockets was already full of them.”

“Most probably he is not very well in his head.”

“He seemed to me as someone who is exactly too well and proper.”
