Subsidy for ‘green roofs’ extended till 1 November 2014

19 October 2011 – In line with their policy to reduce excessive CO2 production, the City Council wants to encourage the ‘planting’ of green roofs because they mean less energy is required for heating and less wasted in the cooling down process.

The subsidy is proving popular among both private individuals and companies. So far applications for 12,000 m2 of green roofs have been submitted, including one from Panorama Mesdag!
