End of January members of the Workinggroup Urban Planning placed five air-quality measuring instruments at various locations in our district to investigate the quality of the air at Laan Copes, Patijnlaan, Javastraat and two more places. The tubes absorb the NO2 from the air. In the course of one year the tubes will each month be replaced by new ones. The tubes that are removed will be sealed and sent to a laboratory, where the amount of nitrogen dioxide will be determined. Milieudefensie and Haags Mileucentrum give financial support.
