Theater café De Mix presents New French Touch

New French Touch: Ruud Pennings (guitar), John Baltus (guitar), Ed Bouwens (bass) and Hans van der Maas (accordion)
The repertoire of New French Touch consists of gypsy jazz, jazz standards with a French jazz sauce, bossa nova and the false musette is also discussed. Of course they play everything with a New French Touch.

Every month, the De MIX Foundation organizes a cultural afternoon in the Zeeheldentheater, especially for people aged 55 and older. These are mainly people from the vicinity of the Zeeheldentheater, from the center of The Hague and other neighbourhoods, but also from the Hague region. The focus is on the neighbourhood. The afternoons are in principle from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm (deviating times may occur due to corona measures). The performances always take place on a Sunday, occasionally on a Saturday. These afternoons each time consist of a fixed program (as long as necessary coronaproof):
• walk-in and reception with coffee, tea and something delicious;
• activity of approximately one hour, for example: a lecture, a music performance/concert, a creative activity, a (cultural) exercise activity;
• a special snack and drink and always a cup of soup from various corners of the world, for a symbolic amount.
Unfortunately, due to the lockdown, we had to move performances, but there are still 5 performances programmed until May 15, 2022.
