On Saturday 8 July 2017, 16.30 hrs, Stichting ArchipelpoëZie unveiled a new wall-poem at Kerkstraat 15.
The poem was written by the Dutch poet M. Vasalis (Margaretha Droogleever Fortuyn-Leenmans, 1909–1998).
Maaike Meijer, author of the biography of the poet, gave a short lecture on Vasalis’ life and work.
After the ceremony we shared a drink to toast our beautiful neighbourhood and its wall-poems.
